I personally, get into the car, start it, sit for about two mins connecting my phone etc, but SOMETIMES it's not always convenient if for example a few months ago one of our cats had been hit by a car, we'd to take her to an emergency vet, the car had been sitting from about 2 in the afternoon til around 10pm so it was a case of into the car and drive.

Yeah fair enough mate, that happens to everyone. But on the whole, you let it run for a moment, which is what I was getting at :)

I assume were we're talking about kangarooing? I find vpower seriously reduces kangarooing to the point you have to be a t**t to get it to hop.

No! If someone is dying on the back seat, don't drive to the hospital straight away... You must let it warm up for a minute.
;)

If someone is dying, they take the bus or another car. They're suffering enough without having to climb past recaros* and then be rattled to death by the chassis**

*recaro or go home
**cup chassis or don't bother
