The pics on parkers look nice, the renault by me doesn't have a 197 so can't look at it

Go on Renault's website and book a test drive. That way you will know where the nearest demo is, even if you don't want to drive it go along and have a butchers.

To be fair, I think most cars look better in the flesh. I think MOST photos are nowhere near justice.

It does look nice it that pic, really wide.

It will be good to see what they are like in couple of years time, withe engines opened up a little and the price, as at the moment the Megane 225 seems to be better value.

Not quite. I know what's coming next.

Great pic...197 looks pretty aggressive there

just shows how much (imo) renault sport tried to make it stand out with the wider arches front and back. The 172/182's only had wider front arches, and just look how tame it looks next to it. I also think the xenons help with a more aggresive look. Think the 197 in the pic has been lowered, but so has the 182 by the looks of things. I'd have one in a second in racing blue, anthricite the alloys drop like in the above pic..... but they just aint quick enough? By all reports nearly 2 secs slower to 100?

Interior is definitely a step up from previous cars. I like everything about these cars except for the engine. Feels like a Clio 175 :dapprove:
