Clio 4k faults..

My 182 is my first experience with Renault,so far so good after 274 miles but i keep reading on here about the so called 4k rattle and how they start pulling to one side after 4k ?

Thats just great..i cant wait..Wooopeeeeeeeeee

erm 4k rattle is a rattle in the center section that you should not get with the new system but anything is possible it happens at 4k rpm not miles

and as for the pulling it has nothing to do with speed or distance

So why do people say it will start pulling at 4k...im going to trading standards because i understood people meant miles..you are all doomed...

Miles,distance or centre sections..are they that bad ?

if you mean pulling as in torque steer then yeah that starts happening when it starts to come on cam at just over 4 k

Duh @ me then,i was assuming that once the cars were run in then they start to rattle and squeak and things.I read some reviews before buying that said stuff like that but maybe the reviews i read were just wingers looking for something to moan about..i hope so !

they always rattle its french naff all you can do about it except buy a car from a company that knows about the word quality control.

seriously it will be fine just silly little faults

you only ever see people complain about their cars never people saying yes its wonderfull and stuff so it always seem like they just go wrong

guess it is all down to luck... cos mine had some rattles here and there. But hey, they all seem to have taken a hidding for now...

Heres one, my Cup is a fantastic little car, I have had nowhere near as many squeaks as I had with my Peugeot. I have got to 4000 miles and I dont hear no rattles squeaks, heres my advise always drive witht the radio loud, then you will be blissfully unaware yet driving the best Hot Hatch on the market today.

All cars rattle, its a fallacy that german cars have better build quality and Jap cars are far superior to those built by our French cousins. My brothers mate has a CTR and he has not stopped taking it back to Honda for so many problems, my mate in work has always bought golfs yet has encountered countless problems, yet when I ask him why he doesnt change it he comes out with, you cant beat VW or German made cars.

Its bollox, you get good cars and you get bad ones, I hope yours is like mine and serves you well for the time you have it.

My Vectra saloon never had any problems at all in 59k miles.



It was built in Germany.
