Clio Alize

Hi a quick question about the Mk2 Ph1 Clio Alize's spec.

Im confused. Looking at the Clio Alize they seem to share alot of the specs only available on the Mk2 Ph1 "sports".

- Electric windows
- Passenger airbag
- Foglights
- Updated Dash (centre console)

Does this mean they also have the 16v versions of engines too?

yes they do mate
only thing different i think mate is the headlights are nt the projectors

I already converted my headlights to projectors so thats not a problem for me. Thats good to know that i have another option rather than hunting for a decent Sport!

alize 8v didnt come with projectors or the dynamique type spoiler but it has electric windows, pass airbag.

Not sure about the early 8v alize, but after W reg they were all 16v(my mum bought one new) It has standard fit air con/ passenger airbag/electric windows/ manual mirrors though. NO foglights/normal headlights not projectors.


You get less sporty seats than the 'sport' models i assume as they are quite flat. The standard wheels were hopeless though( 165/65/14) far too thin for the amount of bhp(98)- i promptly fitted some 16v RSI 14" wheels with 185/60

Also the suspension is quite soft, as its the non sporty model - the handling improved 100% after i fitted the wider wheels though.
