Clio Bonnet!

hiya, i was wondering if any of you can help me, i got a clio for christmas but something is wrong with the bonnet coz its not lying correctly, theres not an equal gap each side of the wings, my brother has tried to align it better but i think its gone worse, lol, so i just thought someone mite know if theres an easier solution to fixing this problem, also i dont think its a genuine renault bonnet so do u think this could be the problem? has anyone else had any trouble like this? thanx

the hinges probably need re-adjusting. There's 3 bolts (i think) at each corner. Slacken these slightly then close bonnet adjusting to suit. Reopen bonet and tighten bolts in desired position. Job sorted

if the reg is X822 MOF, then its a written off car (my old one)

I might possibly be down to the fact that its a copy (not a renault bonnet) 'cos i have a copied bumper and that doesnt line up for sh!t...dont worry about it but if you want to change it look around your local scrap yards see if they have any bonnets in and swap them over!!!

ok thank you, no thats not the reg, its a y reg, i think the person who had it b4 me had changed it coz it had a few dings in it, and wanted to get more for the car so bought a new bonnet (i think), yeah i might look out for a renault bonnet then if i cant sort it out, its not that important really, i just wanted to make it look its best lol! thanx
