clio bonnet

wow was on my way to colne last night to work in the asda, coming up the slip road was a red clio looked like a mk1 (it was dark) so we pulled to the out side lane all of a sudden we see his/hers bonnet shaking then wak it pops right open and hits the windscreen.

luckerly they pulled over quick while hitting some cones that were covering the hard shoulder they seemed ok



just wondering if any one else has had or seen this problem as i no there was a thing on watch dog

Are you in Colne regular because I often see a silver 172 about but no sticker etc.

yer its been on watchdog loads and only applies to mk 2.

apparantly watchdog said that Renault are now sending out letters to people with mk2 so they can book their car in if people want their bonnet catch checked.

im still awaiting my letter

im doing the refurb mate at the asda store i do all them communications

its agood job you guys no ur clio's me getting the wrong mk and stuff i keep mine creased first thing i did when i bought my mk2 ph2 incase
