Clio Campus - 2008 - Rear Speaker Wires

  Clio Campus Sport
Hi I'm James and am new to the forum,

I brought a Clio Campus Sport 16v 2008 model and collected it yesterday from a Renault dealership near me.
When I collected the car the salesman said it is fitted with rear speaker wires but there are no rear speakers in the car.
I have tried looking behind back panels and behind panels in the boot but cant seem to find the wired...
Anyone know where the rear speaker wires are kept in a Campus 2008 model?
Any response appreciated,

I am thinking of just re-wiring also but seems alot of effort if the wires are actually in place... the Renault garage said the technician who deals with this sort of thing will ring me tomorrow morning and let me know as he is off work today. If i don't get a response off here and he lets me know I will post where to find the wires.

I have a Campus Sport 2007 and have asked a similar question about rear wires etc.. Mine didn't come with rear speakers either but was told to look deeper when I'd taken the plastic covers off, if you put your hand right down there are wires running through to the boot on both sides not sure what they are, but they're there..

suppose that partly helps.. :S or they might be to the rear lights or something?? :S anyway... when i get my sound deadening... still not sure what to get yet as it costs a bomb and i dont know how much to get, i'll strip out the back and have a looky... :L :) having said that i just put some foam in my boot lid yesterday and i'm surprised how much of a difference it seems to have made to the sound of my subs... :)

Sound deadening off eBay, £40, 20 sheets of A4 - does both front doors, both rear quarters and the boot, with even generous layers. Good luck. Done it to a few cars, be careful - it's sharp.

Whoever can't find them still completely remove your side panels in the boot and the wires should be right at the bottom. :)

Right, Morning...

To find the wires you will need to remove the rear seats and fully take off the card for it, some times the wires are just floating in the rear qtr panels and some times you will find it cable tied to the post closest to the front seats. DO NOT just grab a random wire and pull it, simply because it could be anything even tho most wires for the rear of the car will be in a different section.

To put wires in its fairly easy, you'll need some speaker wire though.

This is good

This is better as its OFC and better for amping.

And then its time to hide them behind the panels, secure atleast 2ft spare for behind the speakers, this is for when you put the speakers in/out.

On both sides, drivers is a little metal bracket that sticks out, yellow/green colour block will have a few spaces in, now with the wires that come from the head unit and go into the block one way (left side) but not the other (right side) this will be the speaker spacers, attach a audio pin to new cable, check polarity and insert lightly to make a connection, check speaker works and then do the other side.

Passenger side is the same but you'll find 3 wires spare and not two, copy the same as what you did on the drivers side and your done, new wires and speakers installed for the rears to run off the HU.
