1.2 .. is it me or dose the engine in the sport seem rather thirsty?
is the engine same as the standard 1.2 16V? as they look different, also is the biting point on the clutch always at the very top?

I don't find it thirsty, and yeh it is the same engine (or mine is anyway).

The biting point is at the top on all mk2's iirc.

There are some out there with the 1.2 8v engine, 60bhp of pure muscle, front tyres perish before they wear out/ hit 60mph!
