Clio Central Locking - Rain = No unlock = Giant Fail!

Hi guys,

Newbie here but hopeing you can help. I've got a MK2 clio with the dockside Cobra alarm. It's caused no end of grief over the last year or so but now, I can't unlock the car with the fob and if I unlock it manually with the key the alarm goes off and I don't know how to stop it other than pulling the wires out from the siren.....

This has happened twice now, only when it rains or very damp. I assume it's therefore to do with water getting in to the sensor in the roof. Can anyone confirm and perhaps help me find a good fix? (Other than changing the alarm!!!)

Thanks

Mark

not really mate, i had to change my alarm due to water damage, some of them just do it unfortunately, £220 for a good toad alarm fitted, much better than the standard rubbish too.

Oh and as far as i know you can't fix the old ones due to them being crap and not made anymore, parts are too hard to come by.
