clio clutch

does anyone know if it sounds right that an x reg 1.4 sport clio should have a clutch replacement time of 8 hours?........apparently it's a pain of a job but thats just what the garage told us, any idea's on the acuracy of this, hardly worth it for the money as it's almost half the value of the car :S
