Clio Computer Trouble - Help!

It appears on buying this vehicle second hand that the trip computer isnt working. Does anybody know if theres a way that this has been switched off. Anybody had similair problems.

I don;t even get a thing about my oil when the vehicle starts as it says in the manual.

dont know if all 1.2s have the trip computer.

to get the oil thing to work, press the milage reset button on the speedo twice.

my sister has a S-reg clio 1.2 grande and that doesnt have a trip computer i dont think

cool, i wasnt sure it advertised it had one obviously dodgy sales technique.

Grande definitely doesnt have one mate, my Alize only has the digital oil display on startup but not a trip computer either

i tried the oil thing but it didnt work. have i o do this when the ignition is on or off?

when you first fire up, mine says "oil ok" then if i press the trip reset, it goes to a line like, erm, line..which is an electronic oil indicator.

mines a 53plate authentique

it says mine should do that, but it doesnt. ive even got the sticker on the windscreen saying i have it. but it doesnt do it.
