personally i think corsa's ruin everything, clio's are a far better car not only for looks but the fact that you can turn a corner and not see one but you'll see a corsa...most prob a black sxi...

I think corsa's are cracking little cars. The old GSi was quite a desirable car when I was in my teens so I have fond memories of them, they go well and sound fantastic with just a decent induction kit.

I learnt to drive in a 1.2 which to be honest was a bit pants but they are quite solidly built cars.

Also considering all of the names on the list, i'd have thought that the turn out would have been more.

i saw that yellow and silver one driving home near greenhithe asda's, sure the silver driver was wearing a renault sport t-shirt.

maybe next meet should be at santa pod RWYB drag racing, corsa vs clio, would be a good laugh, no matter what engine size. or maybe a trackday would be better as thats not all down to power.

Oh and i wasn't being ignorant, its just i turned up to talk about cars as thats what the meet was based upon and i couldn't talk when the corsa boys were having a sound off with there stereos so i stood up the other end where the clios were!

I know what you mean mate, I went over took some pictures and did speak to a few of them. Had a look at a couple of dirty diesel engines but I've spoken to the Corsa guys before so I wanted to speak to the Clio people who I'd not met before.

I don't mind speaking to people but all i am basically interested in is racing, Slowest car i had was my fiesta zetec s, but even that had nitrous! lol

The VW made loads of induction noise but didn't have any go even with the tiny wheels, looked pretty cool though i thought, not my cup of tea but thumbs up to it! was different!
