Im just woundering if anyone had any measurements of them and are they road legal as i understand the OE ones arent.

where can you even get them from? i thought they were rare then ben p has 2 on his car!

I thought these ring type tow hooks might be legal as they do not protude
like the original solid hooks ...then again you know what thought did ?
Anyone been stopped for sporting the ring type hooks?

A car would do much more damage than just the towing eye, if you're gonna get hit then that little thing is the least of your worries

there are Landies out there with tow bars/winches fitted to the front... that would be my argument.

these are easy to get hold of, just order from R sport, me and Ben P both have the front and rear ones, they are different lenghts.

If there is enough people I'll consider ordering them again, last time i ordered 4 front and 2 rear ...

I havnt got the invoice in front of my but last week it cost along the lines of £24 + vat + the deliverly divided out + £2 for me to post on to everyone

so are these actually road legal? as they dont stick out past the bumper so it cant be for safety reasons :S

IIRC they don't have a website. I also have a R-sport 'Genuine' cup racer tow eye, you'll have to ring R-sport up, they might have a few tow eyes in stock.
