Clio Cup track car on PH

IIRC, that could be Norris309's old car???

I deffinately recognise the reg......

One wonders if on that one visit, he binned it, and had to replace the front end and that's why it doesn't match heh.

Dan

What Norris off of here? Haven't seen him for ages? Used to see him on the way to work a fair bit. Didn't even realise he'd got rid.

The coilovers are pretty much the same as h&r's.

Does seem a good price, especially if the cage is fitted properly... but as dan says, id check why half of it is a different colour to the rest.

Hmm im not sure about the multicoloured front end, they didn't even make a sport in that grey so im wondering why they are painted that colour, not as if they were robbed off another car.
I think its a little pricey but not too much, plate is cool ending in WRC.

Plate looks really familiar on that, can't quite figure out where I know it from though. I know Jerry has a Trophy with WRC on the end locally, but I'm still sure I know this one as well.

I was thinking the same as Alex ^, the RS wasnt made in that colour so it must have been done specially. Seems an odd choice. Car looks well done though.

ud pay that for a decent standard cup, and thats exactly what that is, cept its got lots of bits missing, and some dodgy paint scheme.

£4000??

I would pay 3.5k no more tbh. Around £1500 of parts from the car have been removed and probably sold.

Those bits he's taken off a 172 cup are not worth £1500...

Then add the price of coilovers, cage, seats etc etc.

Its worth more than standard if its good.

Oh I don't know, pricing up all the interior trim it wouldn't be cheap, and you know it's had a hard life, it doesn't have a FSH and it's done quite a lot of miles...

Dan

i think it looks good - purposeful

the plate's strangely interesting to me too as mine's on its original WR52 plate at the mo but did, apparently, have a 'WRC' private plate on it at some point; both cars are fairly local too - may just be coincidence though

a full cup interior is worth £400 if its good, thats dash and everything. turinis are £300-400 for a good set.

RS steering wheel, £200?

cup springs, £100 ish

so theres £1100 really, if he did well.

so we can safely say a grands worth of stuff is gone, and road legality went with that stuff too.

Lol!!! Where do you sell your bits, millionaires row?

Full interior £200 (you cant give the seats away)

Turinis £300

Steering wheel £50 as it will have melted

Springs £20... cup springs £100, are you on crack?

What about that car is not legal fella? Mine passed mot in a similar condition.

Yeah but its been replaced with easily £1500 worth of stuff as mentioned already by myself and Dan.
Seats and subframes
Wheels
Cage
all adds up.

Coilovers £700 (plus £200 if they've been properly set up), seats harnesses etc £1000, cage plus installation £500-£1000.

Dont quote me on those figures, but lol at some of you guys that think building a track car is cheap.

It may well be worth the money, bearing in mind the value you could assign to the time taken to do the work, ignoring the parts... but I don't think it'll sell, simply on the basis of the grey/blue thing looking a bit retarded :S

I'm not one to usually try and devalue a renault sport, but I still think it's only worth 3.5k

I will lose thousands on my car when I sell, but that's the thing with modified vehicles.

Ha ha, agreed!

I couldnt sell mine for £6k mint with better bits on than that. Steves only just selling his for £4.5 :S

Is that why you're advertising it for more than you bought it for? :S

I think i have seen some pics of it you have taken, think neil and i had a walk round the paddock and spotted it too.
