Out of interest, how much are these?

And, whats stopping someone buying one and sticking it on the road, what is it missing to make it legal?

I remember vague talk of Renault actually selling a road going version of one about a year or two ago.

Everyone was getting a bit wet (ahem) over on the Renaultsport forum. I guess the project died though.

Surely the biggest issue for road use are the sequential boxes which I can't imagine are much fun around town and traffic?

A think emissions is a mile out for the road. there was something in a magazine i bought about it.

Interesting, you might be able to get a custom system made with a big cat in it to bring them down, just for the mot's

Emmision wise must be the same... just a smaller sportcat.

The Sadev box isn't made for a daily driver, has to be serviced afeter some miles.
(K-Tec had a Sadev box For Sale!)

Must be fun to drive though, welded in cage, lowered with poly bushes... so a stiffer and harder drive.

Pretty sure Fred said the sadev box's need an oil change every 1k road miles iirc.
