clio differences

what is the differenct between only mk1's ph1 ph2 and ph3's i no tht ph1 has only two brake light and tht ph2 has three one in the middle of the boot and so i am guessin the oh3 does but what is different to a ph2 to a ph3? anyone know

No, only phase 3 has the third brake light. Generally speaking (looks wise, ignoring 16v vs RT etc);

Phase1:
small triangular wing mirrors,
slated grille,
flat rear lights,
'boomerang' rear wiper

Phase2;
As phase 1 except
rounded wing mirrors,
u-shaped grille,
bubbled/updated rear lights,
curver rear wiper,

Phase 3;
As phase 2 except
third brake light,
different bumper (front integrates a grille),
rounder front lights

Phase1 look harder and retro, phase 3 looks modern, phase 2 looks ok

CLIO 1 - PH1 & PH2 were built from 1990 - 1996 ( seperate headlamps & front indicators ) chassis number will start VF1C57A ( 3DR 1.2 ) eg

CLIO 1 - PH 3 were built from 1996 - 1998 ( combined headlamp and frt indicators & the new DIET engine was introduced - the tailgate had a brakelight in the centre ) chassis number will start VF1357K ( 3DR 1.2 ) eg

CLIO 2 - PH 1 were built from 1998 - 2001 - chassis will start VF1CBOA ( 3dr 1.2 ) eg

CLIO 2 - PH 2 were built from 2001 - 2005 - chassis will start VF1CB05 ( 3dr 1.2 16v ) eg
