clio electric window fault

the electric window in my 08 clio wont close up , when i pull the switch it makes a buzz sound .
what could be wrong ? thanks

Has it always done this or just started? Possible the clip has snapped that follows the window rail and allowed the cable to wrap around the motor without removing the door car you wont really know.

thanks , i got it sorted , i took off the door panel which took a bit of time and i greased the rails and eventually
got it going its going up and down now fine. thats after a garage said it was the motor gone and i needed a new one
at a cost of 250euro , lucky i tried it myself first
