clio head units

hi all,

I was just wondering if all clio 172 2000 onwards have the same cd head unit, ie the same model number and colour.

should do. The only addition might be a changer under the passenger seat

i thought from 2000 onwards all 172s had a cd changer under the seat? doesnt this mean all 172 head units will control a changer?

Im after buying one you see and dont want to end up with the wrong one.

not all year specs came with the changer they can be added but will have to be a renault one or one of the manufacterers who supply a patch cable to fit std head units. All the head units from 172s should control the Changer but you will need a cable and the changer if you havnt got one currently.

Yup, just watch out if you buy a second hand changer that it comes with the cable as these are £80 from renault!

cheers for that guys , i already have the changer fitted its just that as new the option was either a cassestte or cd head unit at same price, the little old lady previous owner choose a cassette deck so i want to change it for a std cd unit.



i think she would have had a record player if she could
