So my clio i[video]

The idle on these cars is 750rpm so it dropping down under 1000 is nothing to worry about.
here let me help you with that link...

Such a gent! Lol how do I do that in future?
Yep that's what mine does... It's great trying to park and the car cuts out or at traffic lights.
Have you actually checked the power steering fluid levels?
Id start be giving the ThrottleBody a good clean and check for any air leeks in the engine bay.
Any signs of noise from the belt (sorry on office computer with no sound so cant watch the video)
The fact your power steering is heavy IMHO implies one of 3 things:
Not enough fluid (you seem to have ruled this out already)
Pump packing up
Belt slipping (due to wear or tensioner seizing or both)
These cars idle too low anyway, and it gets a little worse with age, have you got an RS Tuner map on it yet? If not get one as that will keep the revs higher.
I think you have two seperate issues effectively, a low idle, and either a slipping belt or knackered pump (if the belt keeps slipping and grabbing the load on the engine changes quicker than the ECU can react to it)
Also worth checking the plug is on the power steering pipe is connected as the ECU needs this to know the load is changing.
maybe the sensor on the power steering pump on its way out?
iirc does it not increase the revs slightly when at full lock to prevent stalling
Get an RS tuner or other diagnostics onto it so you can see if all the sensors are working correctly.
and preferably a wideband to see what the fuelling is doing when it cuts out.
I reckon that you have an issue that is throwing the fuelling out, and the reason its ok when warmed up is the lambda is taking over.
Have you had the belt changed recently?
Went to my local garage I have always used they cant look at it till after xmas I changed the coolant temp sensor it seems to have made it a little bit better but not 100% so ill have to get it plugged in see whats going on like I said I do no the lambda sensor needs replacing belts were done 5k ago
Make sure you update this if you get a fix!
Will do thanks I rekon it may be power steering pump or somthing wrong with the choke
There isnt a choke on your car really mate, although it should slightly increase target RPM when first started from cold.
Actual chokes though were about 30 years ago, lol.
It just opens the body an appropriate amount to keep it running, and fuels accordingly, so it micro adjusts in all circumstances.
(when its working correctly!)
Please let us know mate my only dose it on full lock as well and have tried new throttle body's and just ordered new Coil pack & HT Leads but if you find out be for me please let me know it dose my tits in lol
