182 Cup & DCi 172
I know some wont understand this as only had the Clio since July and have done alot to it in the time I have had it.
Coming from my last car which was effortless power and a fantastic motor all round I miss the power and feel of it. It was a Focus ST but with the suspension sorted and power at 350bhp.
Been looking into Impreza's and will be looking to buy one coming into summer next year. Not sure whether to sell the Clio or keep it and get the Impreza as well.
Looking at a blob eye in World Rally Blue in either WRX or STi spec - my Mam currently owns a mildly tuned WRX and its a lovely drivers car.
Simtek ECU with Anti Lag and Launch Control combined with Nur Spec decat exhaust, front mount and Cosworth intake should be good for starters.
Trying to persuade the girlfriend to sell the Ka I just bought her and she can have the Clio but will see how that goes haha.
I did plan on doing alot more trackdays but really dont do enough to warrant a full on trackcar - been using the Clio for work and its great - fantastic handling (currently runs H&R coilovers, Whiteline RARB, Pure Motorsport top mounts, Pure motorsport strut brace and rear strut brace). Thing is though I love power and miss the point and shoot nature of the Turbo cars I am used to.
Anyone done a similar move and sold the Clio?
Honestly think I may regret selling the 172 if I do go down that route
Tax is very similar and running costs arent much of a concern.
No hurry but would like to hear from others who have done this sort of move
