Want to convert the headlights and the fogs to HID's eventualy. Has anyone on here done this? And how hard is it to do? Im reasonable with mechanics but electronics arent my strong point.

Most HID kits are plug and play now a days.. Basically the connection to you bulb connects to the ballast and the ballast to the Xenon/HID bulb..

Only issue is not having projection headlights.. Standard light housings scatter the light all over the place and don't really give the benefit from HIDs in the end..

Thats true about the lesnse, does anyone know of aftermarket headlight units that are projectors but not angel eyes? I dont mind thme but not sure about suitability for the Mk1
