clio mk2 ph2 1.2 8v starting problem!

I recently replaced the engine in my 1.2 8v clio and it wont start
It turns over and everything but there is no spark! It comes once everY 20 trys! Then dissapers again!
I asked a friend who is a electrician at a local garage and he said he would recomend changing a little black box that controls the igntion or something! Its around the glove box area but carnt find out what its called? Any ideas? Could really do with some help!

Yeah as far as i no they are! I had it started for about 5 seconds then it cut out again! :/ still only get a spark every now and again

If all wires r connected It might be worth trying a tdc sensor

Okay cheers! i just ordered one is there anything else just incase this dont work? Or does anyone have any idea about a "igniter box" (i got told it was called) a little black box kinda like a relay? Under the glove box?

could be the imoboliser if you have it installed. Check the light is going out then your cranking

Nah i think its called a multifunctional igntion relay i think!

The coil pack is fine have checked it with another!
