clio mk2 ph2 - can you get the gearknob off? lift up reverse

any way you can change the gear knob on a clio mk2 ph2?

Yep, cut it off! There pressed on, on the mk2 ph2's had to cut mine off back to the metal and then hammer my new oem one on. Obviously removing the little plastic cover with the gear markings first!

im liking the traditional sparco stainless steel shifter. £20 halfords. just heard you can get the knob off with swan neck grips and brute force. might try that 1st. u like my posts dont you kieran lol
