clio mk2 subframe on mk1 clio

Hey guys simply want a one word answer or an explanation.

Will a mk2 subframe fit on a mk1 clio?

Or will it require modification to the frame or car body?

I've heard of a mk2 frame used on a mk1 before I just want to make sure

you could prob make it fit if you cut out the front subframe mounts from a mk2 and made them fit the mk1 but what would be the point? Other than clearance for a supercharger or AC Pump
