Clio MK3 - Changing stereo & speakers

Hello everybody!

Well, its time to change the stereo and the speakers.. i think :eek:

I thought about this stereo for my Clio III:

Now my following questions is;
- The screen on the dashboard, will it stop working when i change the stereo?
- What else do i need if i will change the stereo?
- Will my steering wheel controls work to adjust the volume on the stereo?

The speakers i would like to buy for the front and rear doors are these:

I've changed my headunit on my mk3 and my screen now only displays the time & the temperature. My steering wheel controls now also don't work however I believe you can buy a lead that makes all of the above work but I'm not sure what its called.

Connects2 sell an adaptor that makes the steering wheel controls work with an aftermarket headunit. As Dan said the screen should just display the time and temperature assuming you have the temp sensor fitted. To change the stereo you'll need stereo pins to remove the old one, then any necessary leads (can't help with that sorry!)

Nice car by the way

Hey, I work for a audio installation company, just to let you guys know the stalk control adapters - the lead for steering controls- some of the clios don't tend to take well to them and don't work. I'm not trying to put you guys off (just want to make you aware) :) hope this helps :)
