Clio mk3 DCI Queries

My mums just about to put the deposit on a new clio but is unsure on whether to get a Dynamique DCI 68 or if it is worth paying the extra £1k for a Dynamique S 86.

Anyone test driven them. Is the 68 underpowered???

got the 86 its really nice i find it zippy it does good mpg as for the extra cost id think the clio needs the extra poke if you can affird the extra get it if you want to remap it it will handle it better

the dynamique s is only availble on the dci 106

Not anymore. Can get Dynamique S 86 and 106 now.

sorry if that sounded rude they keep changeing things an even the brochers contradict them selves id hate to be buying a clio now as im not sure what you would end up with spec wise

No worries mate. Completely understand. Even my mate from on here (Renault sales person) who is selling us the car gets confused with all the different specs.

My 5 door also leaks.... only found that out in the snow....

Also recomment looking on the net, i got my Clio un registered for Ebay.... Import but with full UK Warranty (3 years, 60,000miles)

Renault wanted £14.700 and 12 week waiting list.... i paid £9.5k and waited a week for the cheque to clear!

86 is sooooo much better than the 68 Schwepster.

I found i was getting water coming in through the roof..... but only noticed it in the snow.... never in heavy rain etc...
