Clio newbie just saying hello

Hi all I've just got my first clio 172 cup, had a twingo gordini rs before but that's about it for renaults I've had many vw's over the years and still got a couple a mk7 gti that's 450bhp and a Mk1 cabby that's got a 20v turbo engine in it around 250 bhp

So yeah new to clios but not cars this one's a bit ropey but I stole it so cheap it's going to be a little project over the summer

Still not sure to strip it and track it as I do like a track day or just try and get it as clean as I can in stock form

Wheels are Defo on the cards but no rush I'm going to take my time with the car
My old Ibiza track car used to corner that had 440 bhp but I spent thousands on that car

The mk7 gti is my daily running a littco L450 hybrid and supporting mods making 450 bhp and has and electric lsd from factory (vaq)

Great cars mate 👍 I have a 7.5 GTI performance in totally standard (for now😉)
Carbon grey is a great colour 😎 the tuning potential is massive on these engines.
Mate had a cabby like yours few years back nowhere near that clean thou! he was always going to put a 20v in but never got round to it. Very rare now.

Who did all the work on the GTI?

Basically the same as me then I wanted one for a good few years before i got this as a shell years ago now i am on my 3rd engine swap 4th interior swap about my 7th set of wheels it's crazy how modified this car is but still looks kind of original

I can imagine thats a bit of a handful 😂. I did attempt to stage 1 my R but as its manual it just slipped the clutch so back to standard it went! haha.

Had quite a few now
Touran sport tdi dsg
Mk5 golf gti dsg x5
Mk5 edition 30 dsg
And now my mk7 gti dsg
Life so easy in the mk7 with adaptive cruise it brings the car to a complete stop and just blip the throttle to pull away and it just follows the car in front
