Clio ph1 172 cylinderhead

  Clio 172 ph1
Just started to make an overhaul of the engine that we have in our racecar.

Found this engraved on the exhaust side.
Does anyone else found something similar or could it be a signature from previous owner/enginebuilder?

I can't see any sign so far.
Just wonder if this surface on exhaust is standard?

Not standard or at least I’ve never seen that. Is there any evidence of work being done on the head? Porting or skimming?

Just realised that exhaust is bigger than standard. Good or bad, no idea! This engine was in our spare car and never started by us.

Could be!

Here in Sweden we write date the opposite way around. So 071212 (YYMMDD) would be 12th December 2007

Is the exhaust ports cnc machined from factory aswell as the intakeports?
After cleaning my cylinder head I can clearly see marks from a machine and the 4 ports does look exactly the same.
