Happened to my old man last year.
Was stuck there for a few hundred yards then as the lorry slowed he got pushed off an ended up facing the wrong way/ wedged on the barrier and lorry.
Was a foreign wagon so the guy didn't see him, loadS of people stopped as witnesses etc.
He said he sees it at least once a week as he does a s**t load of miles
