Clio R27 power & torque a little bit too low

Hey! I have questoins about my Clio

but I must start from that I'm from Poland and my english sometimes can't be enaught good

Sa I have 2 problems, first more important,
My Clio R27 2007, was on monday on dyno test
and the results are not as good as should be
186 bhp and 187 Nm

a saw a lot of graphs and Clios has power about 197 and 215 Nm of torque
and same Clios when has less power under 190 still has over 200 Nm

Sa I'm worry about my Clio, because I love that car!
After that, in the some day I mounted Akrapovic Evolution exhaust and we made dyno run again
results: 191 bhp and 193 Nm

some people on polish forum are thinking that I have the timing belt on wrong position

what are you thinking about that? What I should check or do?

or maybe its normal in that engine after 110 000 km (about 69k miles) and hard using?

the second problem od with xenon headlights, there is foult B1C01 and I don't know that the level sensor is broken or there is problem with cables...

lights are 3m before my Clio sa in the night I can't see antyhink...

69k miles you will need the belts doing soon anyway so you might as well do it and eliminate that from the issues?

That power is about right for a 197/200.

They tend to average 185bhp.

The higher print outs seem to be optimistic dynos.

But as said, the belts are due a change but don't expect much more power. Does it drive ok? That's all that really matters.

It was the same with the 172/182s, all naturally aspirated clios tend to make under book power. Turbocharged meganes all seem to make book power or above :(

Can't help with the lights though sorry.

Previous owner changed the timing belt 10k km/6k miles ago and he changed KZFR too, maybe the KZFR is broken or somethink
Engine is working prrfectly, nice reving, no problems, engine has stable low rotation speed

Sa I don't konw that I should check the timing belt position and KZFR? How can I check KZFR?

My Numbers are in bhp and Nm ;)

Our bhp is in bhp, but our torque is in lb ft :D

Clios make around the 150s which is around 200nm so, your bhp seems right but your torque does seem low.

Do you have any specialists near you?

I thing in Poland there in no typical specialists workshop of Clios
I'm car mechanic and I worked in Best Performance, company where we modify a lot of cars :wink:

I know one man, my friend how was working with Clio R3 and he will help me with cheking timing belt

I'm worry about my Clio only for one reason, low torque, I seen only one more graph of Clio 197 dyno witch has under 200 Nm torque...

I love this car, Clio give me a lot of fun and emotions, good and possitive emotions sa I reale want to keep my Clio in the best condition as I can!

sa in Poland one guy had a problem like me, low power and torque in Clio 2 Sport, the graph looks exactly the same

he changed fuel injectors and problem was solved :smile:

what do you thinking about that?

and I was today on computer diagnostic and second lambda gives straight line and I don't know ist that proper signal
