Clio RSi cambelt quote

  '95 Rsi
Hello

I just bought a 1995 Clio RSi 1.8 (£220 with leaky sunroof at no extra cost :) ).

There isn't much service history so I was wondering about the cost of a cambelt change. It's done 77,000 miles which is about the interval for a change I believe.

Any ideas as to what kind of cost this work would be?

Cheers for any replies

Best ring round the local garages etc and see get all the tensioners etc chnage not just the belt on its own.

Should be under £250 I'd expect.

No mate, not part of the Boully scene, was on my way back to work and decided to take a pic by the sea to email to my folks.

Nice car you have there though, I'll look out for it Jonny.

  None
Cambelt itself costs around 90 quid for the mk1 rsi. Not sure on the labour charges cos when my belt got changed I was having the whole engine practically re-built anyway
