Here she is

1.2, 1.4 or 1.6. Actually the 1.5 DCi may also be in there.

Some of these were Clio Sport's. The 2.0 varient that you have was part of the RenaultSport range. So RenaultSport Clio.

ClioSport is a just a trim level. Like 'Extreme' or 'MTV Edition'

Yours is a RenaultSport. As it says on your seats/boot.

Cambelts. Every 75k or 5 years iirc. Whichever interval comes first. Do not go to your average joe mechanic. Or even go to Renault most of the time as they tend to do it wrong. Go to a specialist and a reputable one at that.

Oh and they look a million percent better with standard front lights.

Apparently the cam belt was done at 72k miles and it's on 73k now, yeh I have thought about changing to standard lights as I like to keep my cars standard

Have you got proof? If not I'd get it done ASAP for piece of mind. When belts go on these you're looking at a rebuild or a new engine. Even if they just skip a tooth or 2.

Yeh it's in the service history, how much will it cost to replace cam belt? Also my clio sounds like a diesel when warm any ideas?

That sounds like a a possible dephaser issue iirc. Does it get faster/louder with revs?

That would involve a cam belt change, it's not compulsory but probably should have been done if it was noisy when the belts were changed 1k ago.

Belts are somewhere around £500 done properly by a specialist. Where are you located maybe someone could confirm if you need it done?

That could possibly be the dephaser pulley which should have been changed when they did the belts, if it was making a noise.
