clio sport 2003 problem help please

went to work car was fine, came out started no problems went over a couple of speed bumps very slowly and car started missing and management light on, also had a whiff of rotten eggs, could it be the cat gone all of a sudden

best thing to do dude is look for another cat if you dont want a de cat ebay or ask steve79 on here if he has one hes currently breaking a 172 cup

Lol! you're a massive fan of doing this aren't you?

As Matty says keep an eye on here for people selling them. If you try and get a new one from Renault they'll charge you £600+ for one.

further update
management light stays off and still missing, when you get above 4000 light comes on and flashes, not to much smell now though but exhaust sounds restricted
can get cat for 180 new on ebay

Had a similar problem with my old 172 but mine was the mid section of the exhaust (near the hanger) which had rusted cat end, had horrid smell too.

Worth a check.

system not that old and looks fine under there, cat looks quite rusty on outside though
