clio sport advice needed

  saxo vtr
howdy guys!im considering getting a clio sport as my next car, just a few questions if anyone can help me out! i am 22 and have 1 years no claims, how much should i be paying for insurance? cheapest iv been quoted for so far is around £1500. also i travel 80 miles a day to and from work, so how economical are they when driven normally? my drive to work is pretty much the same speed all the way, with 10 minutes on the motorway, currently with my VTR its costing me around a £10 a day. Is there many differences between the clio 172 and 182? im looking at getting a red one, they look damn sexy!!cheers guys:lolup:

if you drive normally, you should see 36-40 mpg tbh. I do when I drive "normally".

it is hard to drive normally tho always find myself getting braver and braver lol

Not many differences between 172 and 182, mostly cosmetic. Not sure on insurance, I'm 31 and pay £200. Economy is quite good although not as good as the VTR. You can get 40mpg on a sensible drive. Should average about 34mpg. Blue is best!

lol..yeah that will be the problem! yeah i also like the blue ones, similar blue to my VTR, would look cool with black alloys!

  A Flamin' Red one
I'm currently averaging 24mpg but then I have been hooning it everywhere with my new 16" shoes on! As mentioned though, 35 mpg is easily acheivable if you keep it 'normal', but that 5,000 kick is mightily adictive...!

Oh, and you want to get yourself a Flame Red, son! ;)

yeah i like the red and blue colours, just need to find one for around £5k and done no more than £45,000 miles, maybe im asking for too much!

  Clio 172 sport
Im 21 with 2yrs no claims and pay £780 fully comprehensive with Tesco.

With other insurance companies i got quoted alot higher and when i told them i had found it cheaper some of them would reduce it, but tesco ended up the cheapest.

Im sure they gave me like a £50 voucher for instore as well, niiicccceeeee. Try confused.com
