CLIO STANDARD MK2 NOT STARTING

Basically cars been starting fine recently but today just gone to start the car and the imobilliser light is flashing heavily at a fast pulse and the stop light is displayed ... is there any way you can deactivate the imobiliiser or solve this problem .

Key not being recognised but is it the key or a decoder fault? Have you got a spare key to try?
