Clio Sunroof

Hi, Wonder if you can help.....

A mate in work has a 02 reg 1.5dci Clio with a sunroof and it started leaking. He has changed the seal that he bought from Renault and the water is still leaking in there. He wants to know is there anything else he can do to solve it before admitting defeat and taking it to the dealer.

Silicone sealant all over it and never touch it again? Most clio sunroofs seem to leak. The haynes manual says not to touch it, take it to the dealers lol.

There is a guide in the 'guide section' on how to fix this. Works perfect and most people have never had a problem with a leaking sunroof again, myself included.

Someone said bout clearing the drains but he is not sure where they are.

Which seal did he replace? The glass to frame one? Or the frame to roof one?

Frame to the roof.
