the lower model sunroofs are sh*t as i have one. does ne1 else have the problem that it rattles when you go over bumps etc?

Have to disagree with all of you! Renault Sunroofs are ACE!!!!!!
What other sunroof can give you intermittant water drops to your head drying you in stressed conditions, rattle to the beat of the music, seize up to avoid battery exccesive battery usage, !!!!

Think he was going to go for a a new roof skin without a sunroof, but decided against it in the end. Its a real b*****d and time consuming job just to get rid of a rattle. Although I have the same thing in mine and it is bloody annoying!!! Although mine doesnt leak (touch wood!)
Mine rattles to f**k, and really creaks when you are going over an uneven camber, but as its new they are getting a "specialist" in to repair it. What do they do to repair it?
All that aside its bloody nice having one when its hot and sunny, considering I havent had one b4, mind you I still wish id have paid for the a/c with climate control and an electric sunroof when I ordered my car!!!
The Rattles are easy to fix. Just remove the roof linning and do it yourself as I have done a few. Takes a while to take all the parts off but an easy job.

Those with clios on warranty, keep hassling your dealer, iv been in and out 10 times now! had two different add ons(bodges i call it), finally now they are takin all the seals out and replacing them with a different design. Rattles like mad! i did get the torx bolts on the sunroof tightened by them the other day and that 98% cured it! but het if i can get the better parts on warranty then im getting it!
I had my sunroof replaced completely (under warranty) as it rattled like mad, all was fine until one sunny day the bloody rattles came back so I was straight back to Renault and kicked up a fuss.
Turns out the creaking and rattling wasnt the sunroof at all but the fixing/support bars? or something in the roof its self. They werent packed out enought from the factory so they bodged some mastic or something in there and now its been rattle free for the last year. Just waiting for the leaks now !!
If I had the choice, I wouldnt have had a sunroof at all for all the hassle its caused.

Had eactly same problem as you Stubod, ive had my Clio 4 months from brand new, they fixed it once and it came back, sounded like a bloody boat creaking all the time, now theyve fixed it again that was only last week so fingers crossed! They couldnt tell me what was wrong with it tho as its sent to a sunroof specialist to be repaired.
mine leaks and rattles but the rattling side of it to greatly reduce it and i mean greatly just pull it forward a little bit believe me it works
i have had my sunroof out because of this and it was a complete waste of time tightened all the bolts up still leaks so new seal for me at £220 cheap
ive also had 2 sunroof specialists look at it to try and stop the ralles but they say its just a design fault and irraparable
