clio torque settings?!

  clio rsi!
can anyone tell me the torque settings for clio 1.4 rt (energy engine) cylinder head bolts please?!? i know the tightening sequence etc and ive even got the torque.........but in decanewtons, a modern day equivalent would be gratefully appreciated (lbft, nm or kgm)

im assuming 1 decanewton is 10 newtons but im not sure and 20nm a time is noting on a head bolt!

cheers guys :)

20n/m is the correct torque, don't forget your doing 20n/m followed by the 105 degrees or whatever it is, its not just 20n/m - can't remember the exact figures but its about 90-105 degrees. We're talking about a 10 year old 8 valve petrol engine aswell lol doesn't need to be overkill.

Do your tappets aswell whilst your at it.

EDIT-See Dans post its 120 deg^^

nice action mate

yeh so it is 2 decanewtons = 20 newtons, it just diddnt sound very much to me, il have to borrow a smaller wrench from work then, the one i was going to use....starts at 40nm

i would say i owe ya a beer but theres a few complications

yeh its a whole new head thanks to the tensionner being abliterated bending 6 valves lol tappets will be done too, yeh it was a decision between scrapping and me having a play....i went for the latter and hopefully will be back on the road for next to nothing ;)
