The list of seats is endless, you would need to go somewhere where you can sit in them and try them,or try to sit in somebody elses.
How deep do you want it.
How narrow do you want it.
Do you want/need wings, great for looks but is it practical.

Etc,etc,a seat is a personal thing and it's got to be right, just get any old thing "because it's cheap" or Billy Bob say's it's good.

And if the one for you cost's £500,then so be it.

Will a new bolt in cage come with a certificate approved for competition use?

If your tall make sure you can get your seat nice and low and far back. Some cages mean you can't get the seat back as much as you might like. The custom cages cage is a bit of a pickle.

hmm, am 6 3 so guess that might be a problem, hadnt thought of that. can you buy or fit a cage to suit how far back you need your seat or is that a stupid question.lol

No not really, you just need to look at different designs, but most will have some kind of bracing between the two central down supports.
Welcome to the world of Motorsport and head scratching.
