clio turbo

ive got one mk3 tce, there nice but i want more power out of mine ive been in touch with k-tec who said they can get 168bhp out if there twingo with the same engine so watch this space i might be making a trip to k-tec. he also said they plan on doing more to it so the estimated bhp out of there twingo is gunna be 198bhp thats gunna be one naughty twingo, they are worth the cash esp if you are building up your no claims

Yes, you can get a 1.2 turbo Mk3 Clio from factory, but if you mean aftermarket it it's a big waste of time turbo'ing a 1.2.

What kind of money are you lookin at to get this done and also, by the sound of it you dont sound to hot for telling your insurance company?

unsure mate as its a remap, air filter, dump valve, cat back followed by another remap, then intercooler but didnt have enough time to get prices as ive gotta call back when im back off holiday so he can get prices on all the stuff i need and all my mods are declared to the insurance, i had a modified fiesta before the clio had an accident, i woudn't chance not telling the insurance but my insurance compny are ace for mods i do to my car, ive dropped mine 45mm and put an air filter on there declared it and my insurance aint even gone up but have said it will when i do a remap and my spoiler if i get the cup one

You can turbocharge any engine .. if you have enough cash.

Okaaay. That's like painting your living room blue, then painting it green a week later when you remember the sofa's are a different colour. :S

I really cant see 198bhp from a 1.2 tce if i am infact reading this right.

In all honesty by the time you have done compromising reliability ir whats left of it you will wish you just bought a Subaru Impreza and saved yourself the hastle

im sure ktec and rstuning will only map the tce to around 125bhp it will do more but the injectors cant handle it around 150 is about the limit irc

someone claimed to have a tce running 150bhp but it was sometime ago

you would struggle to get 198bhp from a Twingo RS without throwing copious amounts of money at it!

1272cc = 220bhp in a Polo G40 with a turbo...that's on an engine that was designed in the 70's and only has 8 valves. Wouldn't be cheap to push a 1.2 TCE to those power levels but it'd be doable.

polo g40 uses a mechanical supercharger

Oh don't worry I know that, I have one sitting in my garage. You're not going to achieve 220bhp with G40 charger, it requires swapping to a turbo or Eaton M45 supercharger.
