Clio V6 body specialist advise needed!!

Hi all,

I have had the worst Monday ever. I made a hole in my bumber of my V6. Does anyone know how much this may cost me and if the section of this bumber can be removed without having to remove the whole back end of the V6??? Please help me I am soo gutted!!!

Your gonna need a plastic body repair specialist ideally to sort that out mate. It would still require it coming off to be repaired but it can be done. You will have to seek a decent body shop who do plastic repairs. My dad owns a body shop in the northwest area and he does plastic repair but thats probably no good to you. Hope it helps anyway.

The panel that is damaged looks like it comes off as a separate section - maybe I could just get it replaced? but then again it could very well be part of the mould of the whole rear of the car...........

V6 body parts are ludicrously expensive. Think of your worst case number ... then double it. I'm sure it'll be cheaper to repair than replace.

Sorry to see that mate, i live just around the corner In between Waltham Abbey and Epping [ Illiad Blue Mk2 **53 KXC] and have a cracked front bumper and a smashed rear bumper. 1270+VAT rear and 970+VAT front from R-ono
I have heard good things about this company. They do classic restorations but apparently they will do new cars too. Supposed to be very reasonable even though they work on Ferrari's

Try Kendall Car Repairs in Watford 01923-238058. Ask for Steve I used to know him well. He'll remember me (Dave Brettell) from my Escort Cosworths & Clio Williams. He did some plastic bodywork repairs on the side skirts on one of my cossies, and it was absolutely fabulous, and you couldn't tell it was ever there, plus he was cheap as.

I'm not sure if he still does bodywork, as I don't live round there anymore, but if he doesn't then there are 2-3 other repairers in the same lot, and I'm sure he'll sort you out with one of them instead at a good rate.

Go to Sinclaires, they are in Romford. Do Lotus body work, as far as I know rear bumber fibre glass so soon repaired.
