illiad Clio V6.
Firstly, what a car. This weekend has opened my eyes to what a fantastic and beautiful piece of engineering these really are. I had always had my heart set on a M3 next, that's now changed.
Secondly, the bit of a right up of what I did etc etc.
We started off with a snowy foam which used my favourite combo of Frost Drift & KochChemie Nano Shampoo mixed together, produces a beautiful foam. Left to dwell for a good 10 minutes and jet washed off, washed with KC NS.
Then onto the decontamination stage of removing iron fall out and removing tar from the paintwork. Each stage involved a wash in between, meant lots of drying towels used!
Onto the polishing stage, majority of the car required just a single pass with KC anti-hologram polish, apart from the roof which required a pass with heavy cut and then a final pass with AH. AH was applied via DAS21e on KC Orange pad, and HC on Meguairs Compound MF Pad. Difficult to reach areas, which there are a few, we're polished using Auto Finesse Handi Puck with MF pad
After the polishing stage IPA'd the panels down with G Techniq PW. Then applied Swissvax Regular Cleaner Fluid to provide a good base for the LSP to bond too.
Door shuts (and what door shuts they are!) cleaned with Auto Finesse Verso, then protected with G Techniq C2V3.
Wax of choice was the superb Swissvax Shield applied via Auto Finesse Handi Puck wax pad. Applied twice, and removed with Swissvax Plush MF.
Trims, wheels and splitter protected with Carpro DLUX. Swissvax Pneu applied to tyres. Glass cleaned with KC glass cleaner.
I think result speaks for them selves, I'm well chuffed with the results, and the customer was one very happy man when he came to take delivered of it this evening.
