First of many updates to come over the next month.

Full Service was carried out at Steve Plain in Sheffield - Great job and nice to have another 'reliable' option for V6 owners.

Work done included:
1/ Belts (Timing and Aux)
2/ Pulleys
3/ Waterpump
4/ Starter
5/ Plugs, Fluids
6/ Clutch
7/ Lightened Flywheel
8/ New AC pipes/Regas
9/ Few engineering scopes, sheered bolts etc.
10/ Fixed floor tray and squint exhaust!

Very happy with the work done. Different car to drive with the lightened flywheel.

Next up.

1/ Fit new engine covers (Mine were butchered with the cage)
2/ Fit spacers and new tyres
3/ Powder coat the seat sidemounts
4/ Retrim of Pole Positions
5/ New seat (bum bits from Recaro)
6/ New Door Grab handles / Also the side of the dash by the radio...Mines scuffed.

Lots to do before this years events.

Couple of pics!

The eagled eyed amongst you will notice the lack of cage these days. Changed my stance on it...so sold it on.
Car has new KW's all around and running PSS tyres. Looking forward to this years road trips.

Why don't you just get a clear bra for the front? That way you don't have to respray the front each time you take the car out.

It hasn't been painted in...3 or 4 years. Bit of a standing joke. By clear bra do you mean armourfend? - If so, what's the point, a front end freshen up is £200 cash. The armourfend is more and it looks crap after a year or so.

Will you ever sell it, @Ali ?

Maybe. No need to. I still enjoy driving it. Away to shell out cash on tidying it up in the new year.; amongst other upgrades.

By clear bra I mean a clear wrap around the front of the car. Like http://www.xpel.com/ . I've never tried it myself, but I don't think it will look worse over time.
I thought it might been a standing joke yes ;-)

I used to work for a detailing company and they were qualified for xpel application, they have changed the film slightly now and it doesn't go dull like the old stuff, it may still do but it appears to be far better now, still with its self healing properties blahblahblah, ive seen it applied to various rather expensive cars and it's always looked brilliant as it's cut for the car specifically

Definitely, it may be on the pricey side but it's fantastic stuff, especially now it's been tweaked slightly and has more resistance to the sun etc

It'd be worth doing but it depends what you think is worth spending on it, xpel you can get half bonnets done aswell, but a full bonnet and bumper and wings will probably cost the best part of a grand, the material itself is expensive as hell and it isn't actualy a wrap, it gets cut to size and laid onto the car, a think they were coming out with wrap around the edge stuff but tbf it's not really needed because of how close it will be to the edge anyway

I got quoted 10.000 NOK for the job, which is roughly £ 1000. But this is Norway and prices are insane here. That includes the front and a full bonnet.

That's more or less what it would have been from my old work, not a cheap process
