Clio16v-Speedo vs Tacho

All,

My speedo and tacho used to read as follows:

60mph = 3000rpm, 80mph = 4000rpm

For some reason it has change to:

80mph = 4250rpm, 75mph = 4000rpm

Any ideas? Comments welcome.

Also, want is the norm?

mine is about 4250rpm at 80. seems funny how it would change tho.

Fitted any bigger alloys?

Mine is 20mph/1000rpm in 5th.

I havent changed anything that would alter the ratio.

ie Tyres, wheels, tyre pressure, etc

I havent the data to compare other gears. I noted fifths ratio.

What is the ratio for a standard clio (5th @ rpm = mph)?

its 20.7 mph per 1000 revs in 5th gear. not sure on the other gears though. sorry mate.
