clio2mk2 gaiter removal

has any1 done this? howd u get this gaiter out, seems like its fixed into the plastic interior or something? has any1 also put a richbrook surround on theirs? do they fit ok? is it hard to do?? Cheers people

right the gaitor is held with 2 clips nearest the handbrake, (these break very easily!!! )

and away from u is like a large clip, if u pull the centre console away slightly or take out the ashtray put ur hand under and by the bif clip push from that end do not push or pull up from the end with the 2 clips on or ull regret it when it goes snap.

dont worry tho a replacement is only a £5 from renault if the worse shud happen.

and yes i have the richbrook gear surround, but i dont think it matches the rest of the trim yet, im gonna wait till i replace my gearknob and gaitor.
