clios vs's porsche vids

I know some where on here that there is a video of some one in a clio chasing a few porsches and over taking them.
Can anyone point me in that direction because i have a porsche friend who thinks clios are crap full stop and that porsches are the world over blah blah crap.

yea not the point even i would have a porsche over the clio, but im getting ear fulls of a clio cant beat a porsche round the track, on the road or in a straight line.

Did he say how old/new it had to be and what gearbox it had to beat a Clio? Or does he insist they ALL do regardless?

He isn't talking about a brand new turbo s is he?! I had a little blast with an F reg 991/carrera or whatever and I was ever so slightly gaining on him from high 2nd gear in to 4th. I had a look and they are about 220bhp when running well which I reckon I could keep honest even in a straight line. Does that mean I think I can get anywhere near a carrera GT..no...even though I drive a cup lol

I know some one on here not so long ago posted a video of a newish clio tanking around a track some where keeping up with all types of high power sports cars and over takes a few porsches at the same time.
Spiezels and dk, as boring as this thread maybe to you is there any need for the spam when im asking a genuine question of basically where is the video that a member posted racing round with porsches.

That guy drives like movie drivers do. Goes out wide and swings in really sharp for effect.

The Clio didn't even sound like it was trying, i think you could have kept up with him in a rep.

Thats probably some of the worst driving ive seen by the porsche driver.

If it had been any kind of decent driver you wouldnt have seen the porsche.

I'd say there's plenty of old porsches that RS clio's are quicker than these days. At the end of the day it's easier for most people to drive fwd cars quickly so it wouldn't surprise me if a good driver like Mark owned a few on track, even more modern ones that aren't being driven properly too.

I'd take the V6 over the porsche anyday, bearing in mind i'd take a R34 skyline over either anyday also

There are too many porsche variations on the roads to say if a V6 could or could not beat one hands down........lets say it could probably match half of the porsche models made, wouldn't be too far off then.
