Well got back around 4pm Sunday from CS. ..... what a blast we had! Everyone seriously missed out.
@Filters was a pleasure to have you on board! Cheers for the lid. I shall clean her up nice and hopefully get some more use out of it soon!
Left at 5am, picked filters up from Newport and arrived around 9am.
Checked the footage, have to say, turned out better than we expected and the Mic placement was perfect. The rear view cam not so good, it's too heavy so moved a lot and contrasts bad, don't know how to adjust it in a video either.
We were chatting a lot around the track, and while waiting to get going in pits you can hear us talking clear as day.... soon as we're mobile you can't hear a word over the exhaust! Lol [emoji41]
Car performed brilliantly apart from melting my front brake caliper paint and the OZ center caps glue melting and caps coming off! Luckily spotted before they came off on track.
Had such fun. I shall write a proper report one day soon and upload footage too.

Thanks to all CS admin etc. Brilliant time and shall return.... hopefully as part of a large Welsh convoy next time!

Thin on the ground is an understatement and a half....but top effort from Dan. Even turned up at Magor before I did.
The atmosphere was amazing, f*cking amazing! To all the welsh lot that didn't attend...next year you HAVE to come along....be it by your own means....or a ratcher strap around your waist connected to the arse end of suzy :tongueclosed:.... It's on another level to most shows as it's more personal, everyone gets on and has a laugh, the track time (even as a passenger) was hair raisingly good (and the night time entertainment/banter/fires finished the day off perfectly! To perfect for good old LY as he was dozing off n almost burnt his foot :laughing::laughing::laughing:
Epic times, a little gutted I didn't have my car fixed in time as Blytons lay out is well....on another level in comparrison to Llandow or Pembrey but there's next year for my turn.
The amount of effort put in by the staff, admins and their partners - cannot fault a single one of you, thanks for the hard work guys it made for an amazing weekend!

Sorting me some cash as numb nuts here only took his card, gave me a lift so I could keep for booze and fags (which turned in to a mission across the rolling landscape of here there and bloody everywhere) basically, went well out of his way so that I wasn't a grumpy forker this weekend. Footage looks good too from few vids I checked. Slight side to side movement but overall, steady and spot on! Funny watching us both bouncing up n down in the seats over rough spots! [emoji41]

Managed to upload any of the dry laps yet? Still amazed at how well your car went on track for the minimal mods on her. Really made me re-think my approach to the next build I do. That yellow f1 must of been fuming a few times :laughing:

Not uploaded any more yet. Don't want to piss the wife off more!. Away all weekend, all Sunday night checking footage, and all last night changing alloys over and messing about with car.! Ha ha
I had to go get a socket for my torque wrench/breaker bar, those nuts were on tight! Should have got the socket for the track day. Could have torqued up for track then.
No vibration from standard wheels/tyres now, smooth as silk. Might have to get track ones 're balanced.
It did go really well! Very pleased with its performance.
But...... No, I'd still turbo one! [emoji41]
