I drove it a few miles up and down some DC and around town, suprisingly easy to drive slowly. When you get going though, jesus f**king chris, torque steer is stupid but once you get used to how the power is delivered it's fantastic. Pulls in 4th the same as it does in second. Awesome machine.

For a few grand someone should just buy it! Looks like it needs de-tuning though, surely with say 300bhp it would still be rapid and perhaps wouldn't eat every component going...

And i know off of him it had its own insurance group (24 IIRC!).

Ha, my mate has a metro.. I honestly have no idea how they stay upright and facing forward going round bends (and his is only a 1ltr). Scary machines.

TT would certainly be insane, but it'd be good to see it go to someone on the forum again. Would've laughed at the look on my dad's face if you'd have turned up to drop off the 172 alloys in it!
