clocks messed up

last night i went to start my car, started fine, pulled away and the dials on the dash went nuts, they started going up and down randomly i then turned the car off and back on and it did it again as i tried to pull away, so i drove a little way down the road, pulled over switched the engine off started again and it was fine, was fine this morning as well, anyone had this happen to them or know what may have caused it?

Tests to make sure you're awake. I mean in those 1.4s' you need to be alert at all times.

Does it have a button on the stalk first of all? Not all Clio II's do!

If it does then its proberbly the button is stuck in but if it doens't... Uh-oh!
