Clocks reset

Hi all, iv noticed that when my cars been sat around all night for example, when I start it up in the morning all the clocks like mpg, current trip mileage etc automaticity resets, can anyone tell me why this happens?

Sign of a battery dying that is. Do the needles dance when the ignition is turned?

No but once the car is started it takes about 3 seconds for the rev gauge to start working

Yep as stated, new battery should sort it fella. If it still doing it after new bat could be a shot alternator. But I'd try battery first!

Aye, I would get a new battery ASAP. Mine was resetting my MPG etc then a few days later I had to call RAC out with a new battery as I was in the middle of nowhere!
